Currently, Daniel leads Energy Systems Texas, the authorized Generac distributor in state, where he oversees operations, drives growth, and implements innovative solutions to meet the state’s energy needs. Prior to this, he successfully led Wolter Power, a Wisconsin-based Generac Industrial distributor, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market presence and delivering reliable power solutions.
Throughout his career, Dan has been committed to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance energy systems and ensure sustainability for future generations. His leadership, deep technical knowledge, and dedication to excellence have earned him a reputation as a trusted professional in the power generation industry.
Justin Davis
Sr. Regional Sales Manager for Texas, New Mexico & Colorado
Over 24 Years in the Power Gen Industry working his way up from RV Generator sales in the beginning, all the way through to the most complex Power Gen Industrial Projects.
His vast knowledge and common-sense approach to each project (large or small) have proven to be key branding him “Generator Justin” to his peers and longtime customers.
Justin is a hands-on problem solver that enjoys being on-site throughout each project to ensure the client and the project are satisfied. His knowledge and leadership ability has been key in building up the Generac Industrial Brand and his teammates throughout the Texas Market Place.
While not on the job, Justin is married to his best friend Haley Davis sharing 4 kids total aging from 4-16. They all enjoy boat time, hunting/fishing, and backyard pool time.
Rick Slavens

Rick has over 30 years an accomplished engineering expert in hardware and software design. For more than 20 years, he has specialized in the Mission Critical Power Industry, delivering innovative and reliable solutions such as generators, switchgear, and UPS technologies.
Rick earned his Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology (BSEET) from Texas A&M University in 1986. His extensive knowledge and hands-on approach have made him a sought-after expert in the field. In addition to his technical work, Rick is a frequent speaker and conducts CEU/PDH seminars throughout Texas, sharing his insights and experience with fellow professionals.
As a key supporter of Generac projects in Texas, Rick works closely with engineers and end users to develop tailored solutions that meet the demanding needs of mission-critical operations. His deep commitment to excellence and continuous innovation has cemented his reputation as a trusted leader in the power industry.
Rocky Hollingsworth
Regional Sales Manager Houston
Rocky is a power generation sales veteran with over 15 years of diverse industry experience. Since 2018, he has been representing Generac Industrial new equipment, delivering top-tier power generation solutions to a variety of clients. Prior to his current role, Rocky spent four years in specification sales for a lighting agency, where he refined his expertise in product knowledge and client relations.
Before his career in sales, Rocky owned and operated a residential and light commercial construction company for 11 years. This entrepreneurial experience provided him with a deep understanding of project management and customer service, shaping his results-driven approach and meticulous attention to detail.
Currently, Rocky serves as the Regional Sales Manager at Energy Systems Texas, where he is dedicated to positioning the company as the preferred provider for power generation solutions across the region. His extensive background in both sales and construction uniquely equips him to understand and meet the needs of his clients.
Johny Hampton

Most recently, Jonas served as the National Business Development Manager at Generac Power Systems, where he worked closely with the largest contractors in North America. His extensive background spans both the engineering and contracting communities, giving him a unique perspective on delivering effective, tailored solutions.
Jonas holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his wife and three children, as well as spending time playing golf, hunting, and fishing.
Trevor Johnson
Regional Sales Manager Central Texas
Trevor has been a valued member of the Generac family for over three years, focusing exclusively on the Industrial channel. During this time, he has supported Industrial distribution across diverse markets, including the United States, the Caribbean, and Central America. His experience in these varied regions gives him a unique understanding of different market needs, making him a key asset to the Energy Systems team.
Now based in the Austin area, Trevor is excited to bring his expertise to customers in Central Texas, ensuring their power generation needs are met with personalized service and attention. He is always open to meeting new customers and building lasting relationships.

Dennis Thomas
Regional Sales Manager for Houston
Joined the Energy Systems team with a unique blend of high-level sales strategy and “boots-on-the-ground” technical experience. A Pflugerville product and UT Austin alumnus (B.S. Mathematics), Dennis spent years honing his leadership and “customer-first” philosophy in the fast-paced world of restaurant management before pivoting to industrial power.
With a proven track record of growing service portfolios and a deep understanding of the equipment between the generator and its load, Dennis thrives on building lasting business relationships.
Whether he is hunting for new opportunities or technical servicing equipment, his focus remains on reliability and performance.
He resides in Cypress with his wife, Kelly, their two daughters, Quinn (10) and Mila (6), and their dog, Shiloh. When he isn’t cheering at his daughters’ softball or volleyball games, you can find him running—having recently completed his first full marathon— playing acoustic guitar for his church or building something in his garage.
John Diamond
Regional Sales Manager for West Texas
15 years in equipment service and rental sales. Father of 3- 12 year old daughter Swayzee, 8 year old daughter Kambree and 5 year old son Krew. All 3 play competitive soccer, so most weekends we are at the soccer fields.
If we have an off weekend, we spend our time drag racing with the family or riding the Harley. Also spend a lot of time doing prison ministry at our local prisons.

Bobby Messer joined Energy Systems Texas in 2024 with over 15 years of experience in sales and business development, including a focused track record in the power generation industry since 2020. Based in New Braunfels, he supports electrical and general contractors across San Antonio, South Texas, and the Rio Grande Valley, specializing in simplifying complex generator packages and making bid-spec projects a whole lot easier to navigate.

Outside of work, you can find him off-roading in his Bronco, taste-testing his way toward honorary bourbon sommelier status, or doing his favorite job of all: being the best dad he can be.
